Current Work
As Vice President, Ms. LaBrecque
has been responsible for development and the on going management
of both the Medicare and Medicaid managed care product lines offered
through M·Plan and Clarian Health Partners.
Her responsibilities with the Medicare
Product line include CMS liaison and compliance; Medicare marketing
and sales; enrollment, member services; provider relations; claims
processing; information services and analysis; quality management,
and medical management oversight.
Ms. LaBrecque has similar responsibilities
with the Medicaid program, which serves 33,000 members. She serves
as one of the Clarian representatives to the Board for MDwise.
MDwise is a corporation formed by Methodist Hospital of Indiana,
Indiana University Hospitals, and Wishard Memorial Hospital for
the purpose of contracting with HMO's or the State of Indiana to
provide risk based managed care to Medicaid beneficiaries.
Ms. LaBrecque was also responsible
for the creation and operation of the Benefit Interpretation unit
for M·Plan Commercial Products. This unit researches and
develops interpretations of plan's commercial contracted benefits
in order to provide consistent application of coverage determinations
in medical management, member service, and network care delivery.
