Dave Richardson, Executive Vice President Wirthlin Worldwide


As an Executive Vice President of Wirthlin Worldwide, David Richardson is responsible for all the U.S. research teams, and also leads a team of researchers from his New York location in conducting research and consulting assignments for corporate and nonprofit clients. Recent clients have included firms such as A.G. Edwards, Hitachi, Key Bank, PaineWebber, The Hartford, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Russell Reynolds Associates, Quick & Reilly, Union Carbide, Visa International and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.

Prior to joining Wirthlin Worldwide in 1990, Mr. Richardson was for five years the Director of Marketing Research at Bank of America. In this position, he was responsible for a range of retail and corporate marketing, product development, service quality and communications research programs.

Mr. Richardson also served as Vice President at Yankelovich, Skelly & White, Inc., where he directed corporate communications and policy research studies for private and public sector clients such as New York State Department of Commerce, the U.S. Department of Justice, the IRS, General Motors, Time Inc., American Express and The Rockefeller Brothers Fund.

Mr. Richardson brings to his job a broad background in marketing, communications and policy research among consumers, business executives and other elite populations. He provides clients with perspectives and insight that come from experience as both user and provider of research on attitudes and behavior. Mr. Richardson has a BA from Yale and Master of Public Affairs from the University of Minnesota.
