we will share relevant findings from the evaluation of the Hablamos
Juntos Demonstration Site grantees. Because the grantees' first
year of implementation will not be completed until October 2004,
this page will not be able to offer findings until Fall 2004.
The RAND Corporation of Los Angeles,
California will be conducting the evaluation, information from which
will be used to populate this section of the site. This evaluation
is being led by Leo Morales, M.D.
Dr. Morales is a professor at the UCLA School of Medicine, an attending
physician at UCLA Medical Center, and a researcher for the RAND
Corporation. His areas of research interest include Patient Satisfaction,
Latino and Immigrant Health, Cross-Cultural Health Survey Research
methods, Item Response Theory, and Health-Related Quality of Life.
